The Center for Research on the Changing Earth System (CRCES), the National Drought Mitigation Center (NDMC), and various partners have conducted several projects related to decadal climate variability, forecasting drought, and how decision makers could use forecasts. See more at the CRCES Decadal Climate Variability website. The NDMC was involved in projects 1-4 from 2006 through 2013.
Principal investigators at CRCES are Vikram Mehta and Norm Rosenberg. Cody Knutson has been the lead co-investigator from the NDMC, with help from Nicole Wall, NDMC public participation specialist, and other staff.
