DroughtScape Will Keep Info Flowing
The National Drought Mitigation Center launched DroughtScape this month, a newsletter to help keep timely and relevant information flowing among the nation’s drought planners. The current edition includes updates on the National Integrated Drought Information System; overviews of US drought in 2006, focusing on both climate and impacts; and updates on the NDMC’s current research projects. DroughtScape is delivered via e-mail and on the web. To subscribe, please send a request to ksmith2@unl.edu. Read the first edition here.
