National Drought Mitigation Center

An Assessment of Decadal Drought Information Needs of Stakeholders and Policymakers in the Missouri River Basin for Decision Support

The Center for Research on the Changing Earth System (CRCES), the National Drought Mitigation Center (NDMC), and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers conducted workshops and technical research on decadal climate variability in the Missouri River Basin (MRB) for a project funded by NOAA's Sectoral Research Applications Program (SARP).

Information about the technical research component of this project is discussed in the Missouri Basin Climateer and the CRCES Decadal Climate Variability website.

Presentations and other workshop materials for the three workshops in Lincoln, Nebraska, Helena, Montana and Kansas City, Missouri are available from the NDMC.
